Meet the Staff
At Blue Hills, it’s the people who make the difference. Our compassionate staff are dedicated to delivering the excellence in care that is the Harmony Recovery hallmark.
Dr. Allen Weiner, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Weiner is board-certified in both Family and Addiction Medicine. He completed his MD at UNC-Chapel Hill, then attended his family practice residency in Rochester, NY, then moved to western MA. After 20 years in primary care, he changed his focus to addiction medicine. And now with 32 years in the medical field, Dr. Weiner brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to Blue Hills Recovery.
His work in medicine with BHR is grounded in the core value of seeing the whole person as they enter our doors. With compassion and empathy, he affirms the importance of meeting our patients where they are, without judgment, on their path to healing and for those who also deal with addiction, on their path to long-term sobriety.
And when he is not working, you’ll find him outdoors exploring nature, hiking, road biking, and cross-country skiing. He also finds joy in exploring nature photography.
Caroline Forest
Primary Therapist
Caroline is a master’s level therapist with a degree in psychology from Brandeis University. She specializes in Acceptance and Commitment based approaches as well as Exposure and Response Prevention therapy. Her background in conducting clinical research in both psychiatric and medical settings makes her a valuable addition to the Blue Hills Recovery Team.
